In this episode, Ali and Wayne interview Sarah Mukherjee MBE, CEO of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, known more simply as IEMA. IEMA is a global membership body for sustainability professionals, helping connect business and individuals across multiple industries, sectors and borders to make the world greener. IEMA also develops and advocates for public policy that supports the planet’s transition to sustainability.

Ali and Sarah discuss IEMA’s work in training and upskilling people to work across all levels of the circular economy, and the types of policy changes and shifts in economic thinking required to catalyse the transition to a circular economy at scale and at pace to support sustainable production and consumption within planetary boundaries.
