ReLondon’s Local Authority Support team provide a range of free and paid for services that aim to support London’s waste authorities, boroughs and businesses to implement circular economy solutions that reduce waste and increase recycling rates across the capital.
Following a restructure of the team we are looking for three highly capable individuals to join us and help us to achieve these goals. All of the roles will require understanding of the circular economy, sustainability and/or local authority waste sectors. However the roles will operate at different levels of seniority and with varying management responsibility.
Senior Advisor (Grade 8 – 58,438 – 64,501 )
The Senior Advisor reports directly into the Head of Programme and will be responsible for key projects and line managing up to two advisors. They will bring significant expertise across the circular economy, sustainability, or waste sectors; be able to translate business plan commitments into programme delivery; and be capable of managing relationships with senior leaders and partners.
They will also be an experienced people manager able to support a growing team to deliver against objectives and achieve potential.

Strategic Advisor (Grade 7 – 51,618 – 57,011 )
The Strategic Advisor will also report directly into the Head of Programme and will be responsible for designing and delivering new and existing projects, not limited to but with a particular focus on the commercial waste and recycling sectors in the capital, so specialist knowledge in this field will be an advantage. The strategic advisor will also identify new prospects for ReLondon and turn that into new business through proposal development and pitches, implementation and impact evaluation.

Advisor (Grade 6 – 45,882 – 50,677 )
The Advisor will report into a Senior Advisor and will assist the team in delivering advice and support to London’s waste authorities to deliver their reduction and recycling plans. The Advisor will play a key role in ensuring projects are run to time, budget and quality as well as undertaking research and demonstration/innovation projects that contribute to London becoming a low carbon circular city.
