Report – London learnings: how waste services responded to the COVID-19 pandemic

How did London local authorities respond to the spring 2020 COVID-19 lockdown when it comes to waste and recycling services? What were the key challenges and lessons learnt? What worked well and what didn’t? 

This report summarises the findings of surveys conducted with London boroughs to ensure the capital’s waste services are well prepared for any future lockdown measures.
