The EU pre-commercial procurement project CircularPSP has launched a €5.64 million tender (Contract Notice on TED) seeking a digital solution partner for research and development services (R&D) to design, develop and test an innovative AI-based ‘circular economy solution’ platform to help empower local economies and municipalities to embed circular economy within their practices.
Funded by Horizon Europe, CircularPSP (Public Service Platform) is a three-year project, which brings together eight European cities, representing 45 million citizens, to invest in R&D to tackle the common challenge of accelerating the transition towards a circular economy.
The tender is restricted to businesses registered in the EU and HE-associated countries (including the UK). The procurers represent European cities with global influence that are leading on circular economy, including London, Berlin, Helsinki and Istanbul. Suppliers will gain access to a wide Follower Network representing European networks, national ministries and agencies and further cities.
