Social Media & Content Creator
Posted: 02/08/22 | Deadline: 20/08/22
Urbiana is a boutique jewellery chain with an online store and offline presence on Brick Lane. We are headquartered in East London. As a 10-year-old business, the company is already profitable and has strong brand recall in its target market. Through their support with ReLondon’s Green New Deal pilot programme, Urbiana implemented a new lending business model in a sector of the market where this is a relatively new concept. They successfully launched the LEND platform: designed to create a local community of people with access to a premium jewellery subscription, that enables them to rent, share or lend rather than buying new.
We are looking to enter the next stage of our growth building on our niche brand and customer insights. We are looking to pivot towards a digital and omni channel retailer and are looking to recruit one Kickstarter to help aid the business in making this pivot. You will be trained by the Director to become an asset for the team and become an integral part of its growth story, as a “Social Media & Content Creator” for our brand.
- You will assist and support marketing initiatives on fashion platforms like Etsy, Trouva, nuMonday, Amazon, ASOS Marketplace, in addition to its own website, email and social media campaigns.
- You will also provide support in a variety of general administrative and clerical aspects which will enhance your Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills.
- You will help maintain customer service by answering to customer emails regarding product and delivery enquiries, which will enable a deep understanding of writing, exemplary customer service and business support.
- You will also work with the team on all digital aspects of our new product launches on Brick Lane, creating moodboards and trendboards and updating inventory on our online stockists.
The opportunity for a young person to work on our fashion marketplace content, manage all aspects of our social media campaigns across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Pinterest and support our digital newsletter campaigns and a variety of administrative tasks will increase their employability skills immensely.
The job will be based in-store and remotely – depending on government guidelines and requirements at the time. We intend to split the time between training sessions and in-store work so they get a good idea of working in both environments. This will be decided according to the coronavirus government guidelines at the time.
We intend to start the role immediately for an initial period of 6 months
You will work 30-40 hours/ month
