Factory Stores Person/Delivery Driver

This is a key role within the supply chain and logistics area of the business. The role includes specific responsibility in respect of stock management to ensure the smooth and efficient operational activities in the factory are maintained and includes the delivery and collection of stock and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive & Book Goods in both from customers and suppliers
• Cover Goods out- liaise with delivery drivers in terms of collections and ensuring delivery notes are signed before the goods leave site.
• Update stores cupboard on the shopfloor.
• Factory and yard cleaning
• Bins and skip management
• Keep stores in an orderly condition.
• Man stores and issue goods in/out using sheet provided.
• Keep goods in/out and quarantine areas in an orderly way.
• Monitor CNC machine during tea breaks and Lunch if required (move his own breaks if needed).
• Assist where required moving items around the factory.
• Other duties as required.
• Delivery & collection of items new stock items required from suppliers and deliver finished goods to customers within the local area.
• Maintain the Machine and Tool Registers.
• Customer KIT production and assembly.
• Ensure that all goods out are correctly packaged to the required standards.

Working hours 7 am – 3.30 pm Monday – Friday with 15 min tea break and 30 min lunch break.
